Chris Sheridan is a figurative oil painter based out of Seattle, WA. Born in 1977 and originally from Cape Cod, MA, Chris has spent many years changing addresses and showing his work up and down the eastern and western coasts of the U.S. Along the way, he earned a B.F.A from the Ringling College of Art and Design and an M.F.A. in painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Always game for a story, whether experiencing it as listener or participant, he has incorporated the core truths of what he has learned into his work. Recent shows in Seattle, Miami, Finland and Monaco, including a solo show at Upper Playground’s Fifty24SEA gallery, have led to an invitation for a solo show in Washington D.C. in June 2011.
