Anna Wiggs
Anna Wiggs is an artist from Seattle, WA. She also happens to be a librarian who writes children’s picture books. She adores the creative process and her mixed media collages are playful, bold and friendly; just like she is! One day, while suffering from a terrible bout of painters block, Anna had a dream about a woman she had never seen before. The dream was very strange, but the woman looked amazing! So Anna awoke and painted her portrait from memory. The next night other women popped into Anna’s mind and although she thought she was going crazy Anna appreciated the inspiration. She kept painting and working until her creativity flowed freely again. Someday she’ll have to thank all those individuals...if only she knew who they were. Prints from that series: Portraits of Women Who Don’t Exist (or do they?) are available, in limited edition, right here at Bellevue Fine Art Reproduction.
