Following is a calculator to estimate the cost of your print job. Please select the width, height,
margin, the type of material you want to use, and any finishing options. Actual prices may vary slightly.
Calculator Explanation:
- Height, width: In inches, this should be the dimensions of the print area of your print.
- margin: This is the white border around your artwork, or the printed margin area for gallery and museum wraps (canvas only).
Note:If you are printing on canvas you will need 2" of margin for stretching.
- UV Coating: In most cases this is for canvas. If you order canvas, you NEED to apply either a matte or gloss coating. Not only does
it protect the canvas, but it enhances the color. Unless you plan on embelishing or have a special reason not to coat canvas, we will
insist on providing some final top coating.
Fine Art papers: In some cases artists will ask to have fine art papers UV coated, especially when reproducing acrylics on
paper. Otherwise we do not coat our papers.
- Canvas Stretching: For Canvas Only.
- Substrate: Paper/Canvas/Fabric/Metal etc. People often get confused, we have quite a few choices, and some that aren't
listed here. If you're not sure what you want we can help.

Canvas Stretching: We can stretch your giclée canvas print to the size and dimensions you specify. We have
a full range of canvas stretcher bars in stock. Please see our pricing page for more details. Our frames are custom milled and cut, allowing
us to make your print any size you want. We are not restricted to standard frame sizes.
Gallery Profile: Otherwise known as frameless gallery installations, gallery wrap, or
museum wrap. This is also shown above in
editing services. For gallery profile or museum wrap stretching we clone the painting out
1" (one inch) for standard gallery wrap, and 2" (2 inches) for museum wrap on all sides, so when
stretched over the canvas it appears to be painted around the edges of the frame. For photography
the image is simply printed at the size specified + margins, so photographers need to prepare
their images accordingly.
Scanning Services
Art Scanning
Our art scanning service is performed using a top-of-the-line Cambo Ultima 4x5 view camera with a Betterlight 8K digital
scanning back. Our system
is museum quality and meets the demands of even the most discerning artists and collectors. Not only does this provide the artist or collector with
the finest digital capture available for giclee printing, but it ensures the highest quality archive, surpassing that
of large format film for those that take their intellectual property seriously.
Cost Per Scan: Single Scan $75, up to 36" x 48":
- Includes basic color editing and a single proof. Additional proofs are $10.00
- In cases where artists bring in multiple, smaller paintings ( eg. 8"x10", 16"x20"),
we will try to fit up to four pieces in a single scan to save you money. We encourage artists to bring multiple pieces.
- Multiple scans: 3 or more are $60 each. Includes one proof per scan. Additional proofs are $10.00 each.
- Complimentary DVD with your full resolution .TIFF file. Additional DVDs are $20.00. We can also put images on a USB dongle or upload them to our website for you to download.
Turn Around Time: To be able to give your scanning the care and attention to detail we strive for, we ask for five working days with your artwork. In many cases we will finish the job in one to three working days (M-F). During this time we ask for your patience. We do not guarantee rush jobs. Please see our FAQ for more details on Rush Jobs.
Museum Match Scanning: We enjoy working on photorealistic paintings and museum quality artwork, and understand that it may require more time and work than the average scan. In cases where the artist needs to be extremely exacting with every aspect of a painting, and wants to go beyond the initial proofing process, we charge $125 per hour studio time and $5 per proof.
Batch Scanning: Quite often artists come in with large bodies of work that they would like scanned, and it is
cost prohibitive to have them scanned, even @ $60 each. We can often offer large discounts on a case by case basis, depending on many factors, such as the
nature of the artwork to be scanned, and the expectation of the artist in regard to color correction, post editing , proofing etc.

Note - LARGE ARTWORK: Artwork larger than 36"x48" must be scanned in sections and stitched. There is an
additional $75 charge for the extra scanning and sticthing. Some "oversized artwork", usually larger than 40" x 60" may not
fit in our camera room. For oversize artwork we rent a large photography studio and meet the artist there. The cost for
an offsite photoshoot is $250.00 setup fee and $125 per hour with a four hour minimum fee.
3D Artists: We have a great camera and studio setup for photographing 3D art such as sculpture, clay, glass, jewelry etc. Please
call for a quote. We have a minimum charge of $100 for studio and product photography.
Film Scanning
- Flatbed Scan of large format film and transparencies: $25
* includes basic editing and dust/scratch removal
- Flatbed Scan of 35mm slides: $10 each
* includes basic editing and dust/scratch removal
- Drum scan of 4x5 transparency: $120
* includes basic editing and dust/scratch removal
Editing and Proofing
Basic editing and proofing is included in the price of scanning and digitizing the artwork.
- Editing services: $75 per hour, prorated every 15 minutes.
- Proofs: 8"x10" proofs are $10 each locally, $10 + shipping for clients living outside the Seattle
area.
Art Cards, Promotional Materials, Banners
Fine Art Cards
Our Fine Art Cards are printed on 190g Fine Art Archival Rag paper with Epson UltraChrome HDR archival inks. The cards are 5"x7", folded, and come with an archival
rag envelope, and are individually wrapped in a clear archival cellophane bag. Full color giclée printing on the front. The back of the card can also be printed with promotional material. Our giclée fine art cards are true to the color of your full-sized giclée print, and suitable for correspondence or framing; they use the same high quality archival paper and inks as our larger fine art prints so the color matching and fidelity are the highest quality possible.
Each card is $2.50, inclusive of the envelope and cellophane bag. Due to the high cost of production there are no quantity discounts for the fine art giclée cards. Minimum 10 each.

We offer a full range of printing and finishing services for our artists and photographers that includes offset printing and graphic
layout for promotional materials and business collateral, and graphic banner displays.

Post Cards:
All cards printed on premium quality card stock (14pt). Use post cards to announce upcoming gallery shows, art walks, show openings, and

Brushed Aluminum Prints
We are proud to offer printing on aluminum for artists and photographers. Our metal prints offer a new medium for presenting your photography and artwork that's sure to catch everyone's attention. Prints on metal are absolutely stunning, and are finished with Bellevue Fine Art's unique ArtTough™ scratch resistant UV coating, to ensure that your metal prints enjoy the same longevity and color fidelity over time as your paper and canvas prints.
Our brushed aluminum is 0.040 mm, making it thick enough that prints can be displayed without the need for a frame. We offer our aluminum prints with no frame finishing (just the print), or with a float frame, aluminum colored aluminum frame, or black aluminum frame. There is no need to put the alunimum behind glass - the prints can be displayed with the bare metal surface, as they are scratch resistant and UV protected.

Note: We have a $100 minimum on metal prints. Please understand this is a very custom product that
requires a lot of human touch to get right.

Super High Gloss Brushed Aluminum
Our Super High Gloss Brushed Aluminum is coated with a 1/8" thick super high gloss resin coating. This stunning coating gives the metal a wet gloss look, is UV protected, and looks like glass has been "poured" onto the print. It is the same type of resin coating found on some bar tops or table tops, only much thicker, and it has a UV protective property to protect the print from fading. The resin is VERY hard and protective, VERY glossy, and super eye-catching.

Product Description: Your artwork is mounted to a medium density fiberboard (MDF) with a PH neutral dry mount tissue, protected by a 80% U.V. filtering vinyl (anti-fading against direct sunlight and oxidization) making the Prolam 'Basic Frame" washable and durable as it is beautiful.
Sizing & Finishing: Prints can be as small as 4"x4" (often used for custom coasters) and go as large as 48"x96" or 4'x9'. All products 8"x10" or smaller include an easel on the back. All finished frames will include routed wall mounts with the ability to hold their 3 times their own weight without major installation. Final products sustain a matte finish.
Frame Options: There are just too many edging options to list, but we assure you that if you can think up or send us a color example, we can have it applied as your frame color. Color options range from every color in the rainbow, to metallic colors ranging from gold and silver, to textured finishes including marble and wood patterns.
