The intent of Joshua’s artwork is two-fold. First, to show how art can be made using unexpected media. Joshua uses materials like newspaper (especially “the Stranger”), aluminum cans, magazines, etc., in order to create interesting and unique textures.

Secondly Joshua’s art has two personalities. One that can be observed standing back from a piecce and looking at the whole, and the other observed up close, seeing the detailed fragments of paper and other materials.
