Art of the day by Gautham Acharya. We scanned this beautiful pencil drawing, and then printed it and scanned it again after embellishment. The final giclée print and art scan are stunning.This is a great example of a drawing that was difficult to scan. The fine detail in the drawing and the white background make capturing detail difficult. It’s a challenge to bring the white point of the paper out, but retain all the detail. We make a fine balance in editing to retain the artist’s detail.This kind of image is one of the more challenging art scanning we receive. Any detail against white or offwhite paper is a challenge. A giclée print from an art scan and edit like this stand out, and last a lifetime.#artscanning #artscan #scanningart
