Art of the Day: Kyle Abernethy

Date posted: February 21, 2014

Kyle Abernethy is a fine artist and illustrator living in Seattle, WA. Kyle’s emphasis on classical painting methods emphasizes his dark and nuanced works. He is fascinated by the narrative, and draws his inspiration from the billions of stories that unfold each day, real or imagined. Whether it’s a reclining model in a life drawing room or an act of irrevocable violence, the narrative connects the artist to the viewer. This March, Kyle Abernethy is exhibiting a new body of work at the Hive Gallery in Los Angeles.
