I have spent nearly a quarter century living as an artist. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration at The Ringling College of Art and Design in 1999. Following a gap year, I began work on a Master’s degree in painting, which I completed at the Academy of Art University in 2003. I have shown my work both nationally (U.S.) and internationally, including shows in Finland and Morocco. An artist’s residency in Vienna, Austria in 2014 culminated in a solo show there. I am currently represented by the Seattle Art Museum Gallery.
My work has been featured in Juxtapose Magazine, The Citrus Report, Seattle Weekly, Mirior Magazine, City Arts Magazine, and the following books: Newbrow: 50 Contemporary Artists and The Better Bombshell. I have lectured and given demonstrations at Gage Academy of Art, Clatsop Community College, and the Art Institute of Seattle where I also taught drawing and composition classes.
