The Office of Arts & Culture, in partnership with the (FAS) and the (SPD), is seeking an artist or artist team to work as a member of the North Precinct design team to develop permanent artwork for the . The artist will work closely with FAS, SPD, project design team members, and community members to develop artwork to be integrated with the new facility. The call is open to established professional artists residing and eligible to work in the United States.  Applications close 11 p.m., February 14, 2014 (Pacific Standard Time).

Pratt Fine Arts Center seeks artwork donation submissions for its premier fundraising event – Pratt’s 2014 Annual Fine Art Auction! Themed THE PRATT PACK, this year’s event is scheduled on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in downtown Seattle, and promises to be a party worthy of vintage Las Vegas’ coolest cats and crooners.

Pratt exists to serve artists like you. It also provides the opportunity and facilities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to learn, experiment and create. Please consider donating a work(s) of art to Pratt’s 2014 Annual Fine Art Auction so we may continue be “The Place to Make ART!”

The Regional Arts & Culture Council invites artists living in Oregon and Washington to submit qualifications for an exterior public art project at the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) SW 86th Avenue Pump Station.  The project site is located in the Vista Brook neighborhood of Washington County, just south of SW 86th Avenue and Scholls Ferry Road, at the intersection of the Fanno Creek Trail and SW 86th . One artist/team will be selected for a project budget of approximately $30,000.  Deadline for submissions is 10:59 PM (PST), Wednesday, March 12, 2014.  The project must be installed no later than Fall 2015.

The Ford Family Foundation, headquartered in Roseburg, Oregon, invites artists who have resided in Oregon for no less than 36 months and are currently a legal resident of the state to submit qualifications for consideration for a Hallie Ford Fellowship in the Visual Arts.  The deadline for submission is 10:59 PM (Pacific Daylight Time) Friday, March 14, 2014.  Applications will only be accepted by artists through the CaFE system (www.callforentry.org) who meet the eligibility requirements as outlined below.  Artists who have not previously established a profile on CaFE must register before applying.  Directions for doing so are available under Need an account? at .  Late applications cannot be accepted and incomplete applications cannot be reviewed.

The Shoreline Arts Festival gathers 5,000+ attendees for a summer celebration of the arts and local artists. The two-day event is a long-established tradition in this suburban Seattle community.

This diverse Festival features an active Artists Marketplace along with juried art exhibitions, cultural performances, theatrical & literary performances, Hands-On Art, a children’s  area, Food Court and much more.

Held at a great venue, the Festival is located on the grounds of the Shoreline Community Center and Shoreline Auditorium, with both indoor and outdoor activities, excellent amenities, and ample parking for attendees.

The vibrant Artists Marketplace is situated at the core of the Festival, with booths lining the walkways between activities. This year’s Marketplace will feature 70+ juried artists. The organizers strive for a well-balanced mix of art types and price points, with emphasis always on quality of craftsmanship and vision.

Verum Ultimum Gallery invites 2D artists to explore the theme, “STREET WISE and enter 2D work that is any interpretation of the call.  We don’t seek to drive the work, we only hope to discover your unique vision and showcase it. All 2D mediums are welcome and works can be abstract, symbolic, realistic, representational, minimalist, contemporary, graffiti-influenced,or urbanscapes…the sky’s the limit! Streets are such an integral part of our daily existence. Whether we travel on busy city streets, curvy scenic highways, or quiet country roads we all traverse these arteries.  They are the constant in our lives that we rarely contemplate, but always use.  This call focuses on the journey or personal interpretation of this metaphoric or symbolic path, “Street Wise”.  What does StreetWise mean to you?

The Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts is the largest juried fine art exhibition in Eastern Oregon, featuring contemporary and traditional realism.  The festival reflects the beauty, culture, and traditions of the region through its arts and artists.  The mission of the festival organization is to showcase and market the accepted artists’ diverse and wide ranging talents.  Consistent with that intent any subject, style or medium within these categories will be considered by the jury: (sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media, glass, jewelry, fiber arts, ceramics, and collage).  Exhibition space is limited; jurors will select the best art appropriate for the venue and diverse audience.  The show will run from May 30 – June 1st, with an opening night reception on Friday May 30th from 7pm – 10pm.  The festival is open to all artists.  All work submitted must be for sale. Each piece of art entered must be the same one accepted in the jury ! process.  Work must be original and must not have been displayed in a previous Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts show.

Cash awards and ribbons totaling approximately $4,000 will be given at the discretion of the judge.  Monetary awards will be given for “First, Second and Third Place”, “Best of Show”, “People’s Choice (entire show)”, and “Directors Choice”. See prospectus for details on special awards.

The Neddy at Cornish is an annual artist award program supported by the Behnke Foundation and housed at Cornish College of the Arts in memory of Robert E. (“Ned”) Behnke and in celebration of his life as an artist. Each year, two $25,000 unrestricted awards are given—one in painting and one in any medium or combination of media grounded in the visual arts—to artists living and working in the greater Puget Sound region. Six finalists will also receive a $1,500 award and inclusion in the September 2014 Neddy Exhibition in the Cornish Main Gallery.
